Sarabeth Hough is to thank for Lonestar Dance Center being what it is today. As the owner and director for 10 seasons she instilled values into her dancers that helped shape them into wonderful people and friends. Sarabeth specializes in tap, jazz and pre-school. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member and captain of the University of Texas Pom Squad, the official dance team of UT Athletics.
Sarabeth has studied extensively in multiple styles of dance since 1983. Sarabeth danced competitively in the Dallas/Metroplex area under instructors such as Kari Anderson, Kendyl Schaffer and Paula Stevens. Throughout high school she was involved in dance and was a member of the L.D. Bell High School Raiderettes Drill Team from 1998-2000, serving as lieutenant her Senior year.
During the last 10 years she has contracted as a choreographer for such teams as the Leander Blue Belles and Pflugerville Lady Panthers. She founded Lonestar Dance Center for Performing Arts in 2004 and was instrumental in and responsible for foundations such as Energy Dance Company and Explosion Hip Hop Crew, our award-winning competitive teams. She maintains a high level of professionalism and strives for continual growth in her teaching and choreography. We are very lucky to have her and grateful that she is sticking around!
